Lesson five: Dealing With the Undead

Remus was looking a little pale a little uneasy, he hoped this lesson wouldn't but the fear of Merlin into them, it always creeped him out, but had to be done, and seeing it first hand was the best way of learning.
There was a covered cage in he centre of the room, so no one could see in it at first till Remus was ready to show them. The smell of death filled the classroom and there was a uneasy chill in the air. Groans and moans could be heard from inside the covered cage.

"Hermione I think it best you don't do that, not if you are dealing with one of these creatures.. you wouldn't be able to concerntrate." He said leaning against the desk with a wand in his hand. "What do you think is in there?" he asked in his professor questioning tone of voice.

Ron made his way slowl intothe classroom "Urghh..Whats that smell?" he asked and groaned slightly, as it was making him feel slightly sick. He poked Hermione, kindly as he went past and took a seat, near the middle of the classroom. He took out all his things that he would need for this lesson, eg: Quill, Textbook, Jotters ect ect. His eyes kept going back to Hermione. He didn't know what was wrong with him..maybe it wa sthe fact that she was incredibly beautiful today..but then again. She was wearing the same things as she wore everyday. Ron was finding it slightly hard to keep his eyes fixed infront, but he managed, convincingly.

Remus looked up to see Ron enter "Afteroon Ron, and you be finding out what that smell is soon enough. Please put away, any quills and books, this is a practical lesson today."

"Well I'm not too suprised by you getting that right Hermione.. even a blind person could guess what it is, but yes you are correct." He said just as the creature smacked its fist on the bars and making a long moanful groan which made the Professors hairs on the back oh his neck stick up on end.

Harry walked into the classroom as usal thinking it was mearely another lesson as soon as he entered he retched and slightly dobled over at the stentch with a look of disgust on his face he sat next to Ron and hermione basically sitting in the middle then with a slight laugh he said to Ron "Ron what did you eat?" he hoped Ron knew he was only joking then the smell hit him again and he slightly hid a gag.."smells likes somthings died.." he shivered at the slight ebb of death linguering in the air

Ron shrugged and placed his belonging back ikn his bag, then slid it under the table. "Nothing.." he said..."But I think someone has let one off.." He said serioustly.

Remus looked back to the students, it didn't really feel like a class anymore seeing as he had known them out of school too, seemed more like he was just in a room trying to explain something to his friends, but he had no idea how they would react to this creature.
He walked back to the cage and yanked the cover off quickly and missing getting hit by the creature as it tried to grab him throw the bars.
It's skin was grey and it's eyes glazed over a large open and rotting wound on it's neck and it it's stomach, through his clothing.

Rons eyes widened as the creature was uncovered. He had no clue what it was, but all he knew that, being trapped away in bars must of been horrible for it. He also felt slightly sory for his. His insides went slighly weird, as he started to feel sick.

His eyes shifted over to Hermione again, it was almost a whole 20 seconds before he looked away, blushing madly.

"Does anyone know what you call one of these things?"He said looking to Harry then Hermione, Ginny and Ron waiting for someone to raise a hand up in the air.
He could see the looks on their faces and he didn't really like having his back to the creature. He never did like these things. Put a shiver up his spine.

Hermione laughed slightly and raised her hand "A zombie Professor?"

Remus look to Hermione and frowned a little "Yes, but I rather you wait for me to pick you, than to have you call out.."
He then looked to the class once again "Does anyone know.. what can cause a zombie, to be?"

"No Hary.. as you can see... and smell this chap is as dead as a coffin nail, but yes necromancy is one of the points I wanted someone to point out."
He took his wand and walked over to the Zombie and pointed his wand to the Zombies neck, but pulled the wand way after it tried to bite it "Does anyone know what could have caused a wound like this?"
He then Heard Ginny "..Well they could I guess.. but it would be very hard for them to, getting through the skull.. they are not picky.. they don't focus on Brains or their meals.."

Ron winced at the thought of Eating a brain. "Urghh.." He said, as Lupin mentioned the brains. He was deep in thought about the question that Lupin had just asked, but he was getting no where.
