Three Broomsticks

Harriate walked into the pub and walked silently to the bar. Ordering a butterbeer she left a few coins on the bar and made her way to a seat in the back corner where she could see everyone. Harriate took the guitar off her back and sat down. Sipping on her butterbeer Harriate checked the tuning before quitly playing the guitar.

Tina had been sitting at another table in a corner and when her friends left, she began to listen to Harriate playing. Tina thought she played really well - better that Tina, anyway, who only new about five chords! She went to the bar and got another drink, and when Harriate paused, Tina went over to her "You're really good! Can i join you?" She said, as some more people came in to the pub.

harriate looked up startled but not.
'of course. Free country. Im just practicing.'
Taking another sip of butterbeer Harriate glanced around to see more people entering.
'Do you go to Hogwarts? I dont really know many people there so sorry if that offend you.'

Tina smiled "Yeah - 4th year Revenclaw." Tina took a long sip from her butterbeer as she wathed the dust dancing in the light."Let me guess...your Slytherin?" Tina said with a wink;)

Harriate nodded smirking slightly.
'yep but its my first year here. Im in sixth year.'

Tina took another sip and began to hum the tune Harriete had played quietly. "How did you do in your owls? I'm lucky - I haven't got them till next year." Tina was less anxious about exams than the average student, but she still couldn't keep the relief out of her voice.

Harriate smiled. 'my old school was a little different to hogwarts, I suppose if you convert the grades over i got mostly O's and EE's. Got one A but thats because there was a disturbance in the exam. one of the wards fell so we had to get out of the hall.'

Tina looked shocked "wow...bad luck!!" she grinned "An accident or a student desperate to get out of the Exam?"

Tina grinned and winked "Oh, I believe you!" she sipped some more of her butterbeer. "Will you play another song?"

Lupin walked into the bar and walked up to the bar, getting a few odd looks from some of the locals in there.

He took a seat on a stall at the bar and ordered a firewisky. He paid the barwomen and then swigged his drink back.

Tina watched Lupin enter as she thought, then said excitedly "Ooh play something of your own - no - wait - play what you played at the start of term ball! That was rely good - and i love your style!" Tina loved to wear black and she thought what Harriate had worn was really cool.
