Lavender laughed a little. "Yeah thats true...." she smiled but it faded slightly at the mention of meeting someone."Actually....I was ment to be meeting my dad....but he didn't show....agian...."she sipped some butter beer and closed her eyes for a couple of seconds. "God....I hate my father! Mother was right....we don't need him.."

"well, sorry..but you can't say that he's still your father either way..he may not seem to be intrested..but he's your father..and you can't deny that.."

"Yes well....I just wish.....I just wish he was hear for me more...." Lavender looked at of the window and saw a man with what seemed to be his daughter.

"we all wish that..but some times you have to cope on your own, and sometimes you find that better.." he said swirling his dirnk in his bottle he was talking for exprience

Lavender looked back and smiled shortly.....she had just remembered that Harry had been coping without his parents...."I', sorry...."

He smiled slightly and shook his head "it's alright, i'm used to it..sometimes you relize just how much you need them, even when like you most of the time you say you don't but really..you need them.."

She smiled at him and sipped on her butter beer. She guess he was right but didn't want to say anything. She just sat there in the awkard silence for a bit.
