Ron walked out into the dark night, along with Hermione.

Ron was blushing, he had to tell her how he felt about her tonight...he's have no other chance and if omne of them died in the war...and he hadn't told her..He didn't know what he'd do.

Hermione followed Ron out into the dark, shivering as they stepped outside, it was really cold now and she was only in her dress robes after all. She didn't have time to notice properly though, she was too busy wondering what Ron wanted to talk to her about..

"Hermione...we have to talk.." He said, looking at her. "About...us" He started to blush a deep shade of pink.

Hermione turned to face Ron slowly, she didn't have any idea what he was about to say to her, she had never been so nervous "What about.. us?" She replied, was she right? Did he really not want to be her friend anymore? She hoped not, she wouldn't be able to stand that..

Ron looked at her "|I well..I really.." He blushed even more "I-I-..I l-l-love....y-you.." He looked away from her, even though he couldn't see her that well, through the darkness.

Hermione was shocked. Out of all the reasons she had thought Ron might have wanted to speak with her this was the one she least suspected.. the one she didn't even dare to think about. Just hearing him say those words made her feel happy.

"Ron" Hermione said, wanting him to look back at her. She gently placed her hand on his shoulder, after waiting all this time to tell him she loved him, she wasn't going to say it to the back of his head.

Ron blushed and looked down at her "Yes.?" He replied softly, gazing into her chocolate eyes.

Hermione looked back into his eyes and took a deep breath, she couldn't believe she would finally say it "I l-love you, too" Hermione whispered, feeling herself blush and looking down slightly.

Ron couldn't help but smile "I-I never thought you felt the same way.." He whisperd and took both of her hands "Your so beautiful tonight...do you know that?" He added, whispering.

"More like I thought you wouldn't ever feel the way I did.." Hermione replied.
Hermione blushed, she wasn't used to receiving complements like that, especially from Ron, which made it even better. "I suppose I do now" She smiled "Thank you.. you look great too, you know" She added, blushing.

Ron blushed "Every day...since that first day on the train when you told me I had dirt on my nose...I washed my nose everyday, ever since that" He laughed and brung one of his thumbs over her smooth hands.

"And no...I dont, you look...wow.." He smiled at her.

Hermione smiled, remembering that day "I thought you looked really cute.. even with dirt on your nose" Hermione blushed, laughing a little.

Hermione shook her head, smiling all the same "I couldn't look like this without magic.. You have no idea how much hair potion I used" She laughed.

Ron laughed "Having dirt on my nose is cute?" Ron grinned and bent down, poking his fingers into a muddy puddle and dabbign a bit on his nose, then standing up.

"How do I look?" He laughed a little.

Hermione laughed, that was one of the things she liked most about Ron, he could always make her smile.

"Fantastic" She whispered, smiling at him.

"Spectacular" He laughed and dabbed a bit on her nose.

"You have dirt on your nose, you know" he said in a slight mock, but laughing.
