Danny left a small house in london, a bag slung over his shoulder. He sighed looking back at the old house. Time to head to school... he thought as the wind blew against him. He walked down the stone steps and turned the corner heading towards the train station. He wasn't really ready to leave London yet, it's as if he had just gotten there and he had to leave again.

He decided to enjoy London for the last few hours he was there instead of heading to the train. He turned a corner into an old neighborhood, where all the buildings were worn down and broken apart.

Gary was sitting in a small terraced house. None of the windows had glass in them and the wind rushed through the house. He had a small fire with a pan over it, cooking sausages. He didn't mind the cold, seeing as his skin was naturally chilled. He looked out of the window, trying to calculate the time. There was about 3 hours to go until he had to catch the train to Hogwarts. As he was looking out the window he saw a young man walking down the road. He got up and went over, but didn't say anything.

Danny shivered a bit, feeling like someone was watching him and ignored it. He switched shoulder on which his bag sat. He looked around the area, it was new. "Great," he murmured. "I got myself lost..." He stopped by a wall that many of the bricks were chipped and lost and set his bag on the ground.

Gary saw that the boy ((sorry wld u prefer to be called a man?!?!)) looked lost. He walked right up to the window. "Hey there, are you ok? You looked a bit lost!" He smiled, warmly not wanting to scare him.

Danny was startled a bit and then rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, I was just wandering around and I guess I took a wrong turn," he laughed nervously.

Gary laughed. He wondered if this guy was going to Hogwarts but he couldn't ask, what if he was a muggle?! "Umm well do you want to come inside for a bit? I have to catch a err train in 3 hours but i've got some sausages on the go, if you want?" He was trying to drop a sutall hint to see if he was going to the school or not.

"Really? I do as well," Danny tried to hide the puzzled look on his face. His jacket was zipped to the middle of his chest and he hoped it hid his Hogwarts uniform. He wondered who the man was, muggle or a student, a student or a teacher testing him. "I'm on my way to school in, uh, another country per say." He smiled slightly.

Gary grinned understanding. "Hogwarts?!"

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Danny looked down and saw his uniform. "Oh.."

"No it wasn't that. Just had a feeling! What's your name? It's great to meet a fellow student! What year you in? Have a seat. Well it's not much of a seat but it will do!" He offered a seat to Danny.

Danny shook his head politely. "I like to stand, but thanks. My names Danny, I'm a fourth year. I major in transfiguration."

Gary smiled. "Cool, I'm Gary Nightshade. 5th year." He extended his hand towards Danny. "Want a sasuage?!"

"No thanks," he said shaking his hand. "I already ate." Danny smiled.

"Suit yourself!" He sat down, took the pan off the fire, and ate a sasuage. "Sorry about the shabbiness of this place but it's good enough for the time i've spent here." He smiled, looking about the dusty old room.

"I don't mind," danny shrugged looking around the room. "My mother's house looks the same, only with windows." He laughed a little bit.
